Dr. Frankfurt attended Bowman Gray School of Medicine (1972) followed by 3 years at the University of Miami affiliated hospitals and 2 years completing his Nephrology Fellowship at Baylor University (Houston, Texas, 1977)
Since his return to Miami in 1977, Dr. Frankfurt has maintained an expanding private practice in Clinical Nephrology. His group practice; Kidney & Hypertension Specialists of Miami, P.A., provides office and hospital consultations (North Shore Medical Center, Aventura Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital-North Campus)
Dr. Frankfurt continues to see office patients at our North Shore office, he rounds at all 4 hospitals and the 9 dialysis clinics that we affiliate with. His passion and compassion has always been with those patients who anticipate the need for dialysis and to be able to follow them through the process.
